President's Perspective

Our fiscal and social season is about to enter our annual "summer break". However, we still have several events planned. If you have not done so, please check your calendars and see if there is still time for you to sign up.

Tuesday April 15, at 10:00 am, there will be a session on Genealogy at the Honeywell Bell Road facility.

The Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 10:00 am at Moon Valley Country Club. We are pleased that George McNeil, former President and CEO of many Honeywell and Bull organizations will be our guest speaker. We will also introduce the present and future officers and board members of HRC.

Tuesday May 6, at 10:00 am, there will be a session on travel and vacation planning at the Honeywell Bell Road facility.

Last, but not least, is the spring golf outing on Monday, May 12th at Arrowhead Country Club. This is a really good deal: $45 for golf, cart, prizes, and lunch. Payment must be in by May 3rd so please sign up, as we are committed for 100 players.

With the writing of this Perspective, I will be completing five years as a Director and Officer of HRC. These have been interesting, challenging, and rewarding years for myself and all HRC members. We have accomplished much, such as the Internet site and the informative sessions. Although it is sometimes frustrating to many of us on the Board when we see limited participation in the events that have been planned and implemented, we also want to THANK everyone of you that have participated, through paying dues and attending events, in making HRC the organization it is today.

Aloha and Buenos Dias to all.
