Walking is a terrific way to lose weight. You can do it anywhere and all you need is a good pair of walking shoes. You have been practicing 30, 40, 50 years! So why is it so hard to get yourself out the door day after day? The excuses are just as simple: No time, motivation, aches and pains or boredom. Start slowly with realistic goals. I have found that walking with a friend makes walking more enjoyable. It also helps me, to keep track of how often and how long I walk or do other activities. Walk, relax and focus on being healthy.
